Description

Virginia Distillery Company whiskies yield a complex taste, due to the influence of Virginia’s Blue Ridge Mountains and maturation in ex-bourbon, Sherry and re-toasted wine casks. The distillery is currently crafting its ultra-premium American Single Malt whisky, Courage & Conviction, at the distillery located in Lovingston, Virginia. 

The aroma is soft, sweet and nuanced with a malt forward sweetness. The Palate is again soft, sweet and nuanced with a malt sweetness and the beer just barely peeking out. The finish though really comes through with the beer notes.
